I’ve spent the last 50 years researching and analyzing the behavioral characteristics of leaders.
It boils down to making a decision to be a leader, and then finding out what you have to do to get there. There are many paths and many obstacles.
Most leaders have a passion to do something. They realize they need followers. They develop habits that match the needs of their followers, who have joined in his passion. These habits are what we refer to as personality, or behavior.
My passion is to help leaders become aware of their own leadership style, and to teach them how to help their subordinate leaders do the same.Â

How One Project Shaped Forty Years of Leadership
Even when I was young I realized I wanted to lead people.Â
I created the LRA System 40 years ago while leading an expansion project for the largest bank in Philadelphia. Banking worked as a strict transaction process at the time. No one talked about customer needs. The culture resisted anything outside the routine.
The bank president hired me because, in earlier executive roles, I had introduced something called "The Marketing Concept". People treated the idea of bank marketing as a contradiction. They saw no place for it in the industry.
What happened next shaped my career. We changed how that bank worked, then helped other banks and insurance companies do the same. You'll hear those stories and many more, as we move forward together, because they explain how the LRA System was built and why it still works today.
